Andiswa Aba was born in Fort Beaufort, a small town in the Amathole District of South Africa's Eastern Cape Province. She spent most of her childhood and adult life in Port Elizabeth now Gqeberha. She is a distinguished tourism practitioner with two decades of experience. A Trade Relations official by day and, an author by night, she mostly pens romance thrillers and children's stories but is open to exploring other genres in the future. Living in Gqeberha with her beautiful family and two dogs, she continues working full-time while fulfilling her passion for writing.
A born ambivert, she is a crossword puzzle enthusiast and dog lover. When she is not working or writing, she travels. She ventured into the world of writing as a hobby after spending much of her childhood wide reading which fuelled her desire to write books. She has been heavily influenced by writers ranging from Danielle Steel to Elizabeth Noble, G B Sinxo and Witness K Tamsanqa.
Her debut novel, Blinded Love is centred around her beloved city, Gqeberha bringing to life compelling relationships that embrace the strength of families and enduring friendships. She is currently at work on her next book, Blind Trust and two children's story books series Belle, The Singing Calf and Troublesome Phelisa.
