I write, publish and sell South African Contemporary and Children's fiction. Growing up, I loved listening to the folktales and fables as told by those in my family in the evenings. At school our teacher also reserved a period on some days for us to tell each other the fables we knew or remembered from listening to them told. It was only natural that I would fall in love with reading fiction and spend hours lost in a book. Consequently this led to the writing bug tagging me and I started writing stories the way I would've enjoyed them written. I don't like convoluted descriptions of things
