I am a writer, freelance editor, speaker, content strategist, former magazine editor, former radio talk show host, occasional entrepreneur, sometime poet, author and podcast host. I have a B. Commerce (with majors in Economics, Marketing and Business Administration). I have worked and run businesses, in Lesotho and South Africa, in a range of sectors including Retail, Management Consulting, Publishing, Events, IT and Media (Television, Print and Radio).

I have produced and done research for television shows, edited magazines - Blaque, Destiny Man and Afropolitan -, hosted a radio show on Kaya FM – Life With Kojo Baffoe -, written for multiple publications, published two collections of poetry, Voices In My Head and And They Say: Black Men Don’t Write Love Poetry, written the book Listen To Your Footsteps, a collection of essays, reflections and poems and am the host of a podcast of the same name.

I spend my days consulting in the content space and writing for companies and organisations, including OPPO South Africa, PEPKOR, Momentum Metropolitan Holdings, Tshikululu Social Investment, and Johannesburg Business School, through my company Zebra Culture. For Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, he has built and manages a writer network that spans Africa and Southeast Asia.

I also continue to write, occasionally, for my blog and email newsletter, and for a couple of publications online, in particular Wanted Online. I live a tapas lifestyle, exploring the breadth of my varied interests.
